I AM directed by the Secretary of State for India in Council to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 28th January, and to inform you in reply that his Lordship concurs in the proposal to appoint Sir W. J. Collins and Mr. W. G. Max Müller as British delegates at the conference to be held in May next to consider the means to be adopted for putting into force the Opium Convention of 1912.
